Data Safety
Acefolk is operated by RENTOUT SOLUTIONS PVT LTD. This page summarizes the information used by our website, app and related services. Read our Privacy Policy for the full explanation of processing, retention and your rights.
Request account or data deletion
Use the account-deletion option in the app’s account settings, or email support@acefolk.com without reinstalling the app. Identify your account using its registered email address or phone number. Do not send your password, full card number or identity document by ordinary email. Read the deletion steps and retention exceptions.
Information used to provide Acefolk
- Account and profile: name, contact details, account identifiers, age-check information and the profile or listing details you provide. Sign-in services process the credentials and account details needed for your selected sign-in method.
- Location and addresses: service and booking locations, addresses, and location used for available nearby discovery, Ace availability, trip-sharing and safety features. Collection depends on the feature, permissions and applicable choices. Network information may also indicate a country or region.
- Bookings and finances: service details, dates, amounts, payment references and status, wallet records, refunds, earnings, and the bank or payout information needed for an Ace’s payment. Payment partners handle card credentials through their payment flows.
- Verification and professional evidence: government identity information, document images, selfies or liveness captures, verification results and professional or address evidence requested for Ace checks.
- Messages and content: chat, support requests, reviews, listings, booking instructions, reports and the photos, videos or files you submit. Calls process microphone and, for video calls, camera input. Voice typing may use your device’s speech-service provider.
- Safety contacts: emergency-contact names and phone numbers you enter, relevant booking information, location and evidence included in a safety report.
- Device, usage and diagnostics: device and app information, identifiers and notification tokens, searches, feature interactions, crash reports and performance records. Some diagnostics can include a screenshot or view hierarchy containing personal information.
Why information is processed
We use information to manage accounts; connect customers and Aces; operate bookings, communications, payments and support; verify identity and investigate fraud or safety issues; personalize relevant discovery; and diagnose errors and improve reliability. Optional analytics and marketing choices are separate from diagnostics needed to investigate app failures. Features and information requested can differ by role, region and availability.
Services and people that may receive information
Acefolk uses services such as Firebase and Google Cloud for hosting, authentication, storage, notifications and related processing; Didit for identity verification; Cashfree and Razorpay for supported payment flows; Agora for calls; Amazon Web Services (email delivery); ipapi.co and Cloudflare (approximate country from your network address, used to suggest a currency); Google Maps (places and map previews); and Sentry for diagnostics. Selected application evidence may be processed by Google Vertex AI when AI-assisted review is offered and you choose it. Content checks may use Google Cloud Vision. Where enabled and consented to, AppsFlyer supports install attribution and marketing measurement.
Relevant information can also reach the other participant in a booking or conversation, people who view a public profile or listing, and recipients you select when sharing a trip, invoice or other record. Service partners may have their own security, legal or operational processing responsibilities. Our Privacy Policy explains these transfers and links to relevant partner information.
Your choices
You can manage available analytics and marketing choices in the app and change location, camera, microphone and notification permissions in your device settings. A feature may be unavailable without information or permission it needs. Optional content, calls, voice typing and sharing features are used when you choose them. An OS permission and an in-app privacy choice serve different purposes.
If you choose Add to Calendar, the app passes the selected booking details to your device’s calendar flow. Your calendar provider handles an event you save under its own terms.
Protection and retention
We use access controls and technical safeguards to protect information, including secure connections for supported service requests. No system can guarantee absolute security. See how we protect information for the full explanation.
Didit’s routine verification-session retention for Acefolk is two years. Acefolk has opted out of Didit model training and selected deletion of biometric templates with their session. Routine retention does not replace the handling of a valid account or privacy-erasure request.
We acknowledge privacy and account-deletion requests within two working days and normally complete account and eligible associated-data deletion within 30 calendar days, including requests to relevant service providers. Proportionate identity verification may be needed. Specific payment, tax, security, fraud-prevention or dispute records may remain only where a justified purpose or applicable duty requires them. We explain any applicable exception; it is not a blanket reason to retain unrelated data.
Contact us
Email support@acefolk.com for access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions. You may request deletion of particular information without closing the whole account, subject to what the service needs and applicable retention duties. See request and review instructions.
